Introducing the Montessori Cognitive Care Coaching Hub
To provide ongoing support and practical guidance, Montessori Dementia Center is launching the Montessori Cognitive Care (MCC) Coaching Hub. This new monthly membership program is designed to give caregivers and leaders the tools and confidence they need to successfully apply the Montessori Inspired Lifestyle® in their daily practice.
The MCC Coaching Hub offers a unique blend of live, interactive coaching, practical resources, and peer support. It addresses the common frustrations and “pain points” experienced by caregivers, whether they are caring for a loved one at home, working with people living with dementia in a residence or community organization or managing a team in a long-term care facility.
Each month, members of each tier gather for a one-hour live session via Zoom to discuss challenges, share experiences, and receive expert advice.
In addition to the monthly coaching sessions, members also receive ongoing email support and a wealth of practical tips, advice, and practical tools.
Membership Tiers to Fit Your Needs
The MCC Coaching Hub offers three flexible tiers, each tailored to a specific audience. All tiers are designed to be user-friendly, and you can cancel your membership at any time.
- Starters Tier: This tier is ideal for at-home caregivers who are just beginning their journey with the Montessori Inspired Lifestyle®. You’ll get essential tips and advice to help you connect with your loved one, reduce challenging behaviors, and create a more positive, rewarding, harmonious care environment.
- Intermediate Tier: Designed for caregivers in long-term care facilities and community organizations, this tier helps you master the application of Montessori principles in a professional setting. You’ll learn new strategies to handle responsive behaviors, engage residents in meaningful activities, and enhance their quality of life…and yours.
- Top Tier (inquire about team rates): This tier is for leadership and management staff who lead teams of caregivers and other staff members who interact with residents living with dementia. You’ll gain the skills to support and mentor your staff, reduce stress and turnover, and foster a culture of engagement and respect within your organization.
Joining the MCC Coaching Hub isn’t just a training program – although it will involve plenty of that – it’s an opportunity to connect with a community of peers who understand your challenges. You’ll be able to learn from others, get support from experts, and make life easier and more rewarding for both you and the persons living with dementia.

Montessori Inspired Lifestyle®: Beyond Philosophy, Into Practice
At first glance, Montessori Inspired Lifestyle® might look like just another approach to person-centered care, with a focus on dignity, autonomy, and respect for the individual.
The key distinction? Person-centered care is often described as a guiding philosophy, while Montessori Inspired Lifestyle® functions as a complete system.
It takes well-meaning values and turns them into roles, routines, and environments that actually change daily life for residents, staff, and families.
This isn’t simply relabeling existing practices — it’s a shift in how care is organized and delivered, moment to moment.
Why Philosophy Isn’t Enough on Its Own
Many teams proudly say they “practice person-centered care,” yet still face the same challenges: repetitive responsive behaviors, disengaged residents, and overwhelmed staff.
The issue? Without structure to anchor those values, outcomes are hit-or-miss.
Montessori Inspired Lifestyle® removes that uncertainty. It’s built on principles that can be applied predictably, so both residents and staff know what success looks like.
Residents thrive when they can navigate their environment, complete meaningful tasks, and take on real roles.
Staff thrive when they have tools that prevent crises instead of only responding to them.
Families notice when the community feels alive again.
Philosophy may set the vision. A system ensures the vision becomes reality.
From Atmosphere to Action: How Montessori Inspired Lifestyle® Works
Montessori Inspired Lifestyle® doesn’t stop at creating a “welcoming environment.” It builds the conditions for independence, engagement, and dignity through concrete strategies:
- Prepared environments – clear labels, organized spaces, and accessible materials that support autonomy.
- Restored roles – residents participate in purposeful tasks such as setting the table, folding laundry, greeting others, or watering plants.
- Step-by-step activities – tasks are broken down to match abilities, so success is built in.
- Control of error – materials and systems are designed so residents can self-correct, reducing reliance on staff and boosting confidence.
The result? Fewer responsive behaviors, more connection, and daily routines that feel safe, familiar, and meaningful.
What Residents, Staff, and Families Experience
The difference with Montessori Inspired Lifestyle® is not abstract — it’s visible and felt.
- Staff report lower stress, greater pride in their work, and stronger teamwork.
- Residents show more engagement, independence, and calm.
- Families see their loved one’s personality shine through again, in an environment that feels less institutional and more like a community.
When Montessori methods are combined with person-centered values, care culture changes.
Dignity stops being a slogan on the wall and becomes something experienced in everyday interactions.
Montessori Inspired Lifestyle®
The only person-centered system designed to deliver daily success — not just daily intentions.
